I might try the books sometime, if the library has it.

I can't drum up an interest for TB, the bits of seen, and I refuse to watch Twilight (why the VD commericals when the series started made me leary). But I'll give VD a try. Maybe it will be a good fill in while I wait for Being Human.sawcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05665856636670547062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7939166006008003649.post-5890523819189934412011-09-09T19:49:20.353-05:002011-09-09T19:49:20.353-05:00Sincerely, the books and the series are completely...Sincerely, the books and the series are completely different things except for the names, that's almost the only thing they took from the books. So if you want to watch it, don't read the books, they'll just confuse you more. IF YOU DO WANT TO READ THE BOOKS. DO IT! they are amazing and are just perfect if you like love triangles and vampires and highschool and all kinds of drama.
I HONESTLY LOVE THE SERIES AND THE BOOKS BUT AS TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS... :)Paula Hernandezhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04984624706815418230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7939166006008003649.post-52475414799591018082011-09-09T19:23:08.701-05:002011-09-09T19:23:08.701-05:00I've not read the books and a few of my friend...I've not read the books and a few of my friends that have said the skip them that the show was better.
VD is based in high school but it's NOT Twilight. Think of it as a happy medium between Twilight and True Blood.
I'm 33 and I enjoy it. It's not too teenish. There is blood and sex where Twilight doesn't really have that.Jennifer @ The Book Nymphohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09159581931430648136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7939166006008003649.post-65220740438491621682011-09-09T17:27:57.256-05:002011-09-09T17:27:57.256-05:00Is this the kind of show that someone who hasn'...Is this the kind of show that someone who hasn't watched or read the series would be more than a little confused? I avoided it when it came out, since their commercials were trying so hard to get the Twilight crowd, but some of the promos last season seemed kind of interesting. I just haven't had a chance to get Season 1 from Netflix yet.sawcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05665856636670547062noreply@blogger.com
