Sarafina Connell is having the worst week of her life. It takes an even darker turn when an infamous playboy kidnaps her and reveals a world she never knew existed….
It’s a world where magick is real, and where Sarafina is given a chance to join a secret cabal that is bent on gaining absolute power. They could use a woman like her—a witch with an untapped gift for creating fire. But she isn’t about to get in league with the devil.
Rescued from her captors, Sarafina is introduced to a coven that is duty-bound to fight the forces of darkness. She’s pleased that her savior is the imposingly seductive Theo—until the trust between them goes up in flames. However, as the war between good and evil is waged, Sarafina and Theo realize they have no choice but to unite in the battle for supremacy—that’s getting hotter by the minute.
REVIEW:
Witch Fury is the 4th and last book in the Elemental Witches series by Anya Bast. With each book we get to see a different couple come together and throughout all four books there is an overall plot about a war brewing between the witches, warlocks, and demons.
In Witch Fury the main couple is Sarafina Connell (I kept calling her Sara in my head, so I’ll shorten her name for the rest of the review) and Theo Winters.
If you have not read the other books, the big bad in the series is Stefan Faucheux, a fire witch that has a “wants to rule the world” attitude. He took over the evil Duskoff group of warlocks after his adopted dad was killed in first book. Anyway he kidnaps Sara in order to tell her that witches are real and oh BTW you’re a fire witch.
Theo is the emotional wounded bad boy alpha, you know the type. Hot and brooding and we all want to climb them like trees. {aww, Theo} Where was I? Oh, yeah Theo is an earth witch that we meet in book 3. He was kidnapped by the Duskoff when he was a teen and has been working for the Coven (good witches) and making them pay for what they did to him and other witches.
You have the usual push and pull between Sara and Theo. I love her but I’m not good for her, I love him but he breaks my heart. Blah, blah. Throw in some super hot sex scenes and that pretty much sums up the romance part. {I’m really cutting down the plot of the romance but I’d have to say Sara and Theo are my favorite couple of the series.}
There is some action pack fight scenes as well; magick being thrown around, a few be-headings.
We get to see what the other couples are up to in this final installment and get a little glance into their futures. The over all plot of the series is brought to an end in this book but it felt a little rushed and I was hoping for a little more. But over all I enjoyed this book (more than the 3rd book, Witch’s Heart). If you have read the others you will want to read this one too.
I’d recommend this book to anyone that loves a hot bad boy {mmm…. Theo}.
