In My Mailbox

In My Mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren, is a weekly feature where you can showcase new books, ones checked out from the library, bought, won or received for review.

I did a bad thing. I broke my "not going to by books until my TBR pile gets smaller".

I stopped in my first Hasting store on Friday after lunch. I went to look for a new book for my son. (At least that's what I told myself). And ended up in the bargain section and found Passing Strange the 3rd book in the Generation Dead series. It was hardback and only $6.99 and since I got the 1st book Generation Dead last month at Book a Millon for $4.97 in hardback I HAD to pick this one up. (Right?!)

*Cough* Now if anyone is wondering what to get me for my birthday (Oct 5th) I still need the 2nd book Kiss of Life. *Cough* I've added to my RAK wishlist. *Cough*

Passing Strange (Generation Dead, #3)

I did get my son TWO books. So it wasn't all about me this trip.

The Great Nursery Rhyme Disaster

I LOVE Halloween and reading "scary" books with my son. So I saw this one and thought it would fit the bill.

Winnie's Midnight Dragon

All three were in the bargain section. I got them all for less than $18, so not too bad.

And I got a FREE book in the mail. I won Supernaturally by Kiersten White during the Summer Hop Giveaway.

Supernaturally (Paranormalcy #2)
