The Birthday
IT'S MY PARTY - On the morning of Elena's 18th birthday, Caroline is busy planning a party, but Elena is focused on searching for any clues that might help her discover where Stefan is. Damon is also searching for Stefan, while trying to protect Elena and keep her from doing anything that would draw Klaus' attention. Meanwhile, Klaus and Stefan are busy trailing a werewolf named Ray Sutton (guest star David Gallagher, "Super 8"). Now working at the Mystic Grill along with Matt , Jeremy is struggling to understand why he keeps seeing the ghosts of Vicki (guest star Kayla Ewell) and Anna (guest star Malese Jow) since he was brought back to life by Bonnie's magic. Meanwhile, Alaric does his best to watch over Elena and Jeremy, while dealing with his grief over Jenna's death. Finally, Caroline and Tyler face a new and unexpected challenge. John Behring directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec.
REVIEW:
Damon = YUMMY
So when we left the VD gang at the end of Season Two Stefan gave himself up to Klaus in order to save Damon. {Aww} I've got to say that I think I could really like the "evil" Stefan. He was getting a little to moody and cry baby for me. {Yes I'm "team" Damon!}
So all summer they've been on the hunt for Stefan to save him from Klaus. Stefan decides to make things clear so that Damon lets him go by coming back to town long enough to kill Damon's glimmered fake girlfriend as Ric called her. But I think Damon cared for her in some twisted way.
Caroline is still torn between Matt and Taylor. But maybe things got a little clear for her while she was banging Taylor? I think not. Oh well. It's not like the show doesn't need another love triangle. But what's up with Taylor's mom shooting Caroline? Did Caroline's mother, the sheriff, put her up to it? Stay tuned.
Poor Elena left alone to face that fact that she is an adult now. Ric left her to make her own decision. Yeah, let's see how well she does. But hey, the adults are just as screwed up as the kids on this show so she has a 50/50 shot, right?
Klaus is Jonesing to make his own army of vamp-wolf hybrids. Interesting. Could be good.
I'm like Matt, all this town needs is ghosts. Jeremy = I see dead people. But he is only seeing dead vamp chicks right now. Wonder if that means anything?
So did I already say that I like the "evil" Stefan? {looks up, yeah I did} I love the ripper thing. WOW. Go evil Stefan.

Next Week's Preview
ooh thank you for the preview!! love your review :D it's detailed!
ReplyDeleteYeah, Damon and Elena seems like they keep getting left by people. They should just hook up, they have so much in common anyway.
check out my review if u have time: http://ariannecruz07.blogspot.com/vampire-diaries-season-3-premiere.html
I kept waiting the whole time for Jeremy to say "I see dead people," but he never did!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed Damon in the bath --and more so, out of the bath.
Like you, I am firmly in the Damon camp and wish they would just give me what I want: a little D & E lovin'...
