Vampire Diaries S3 E5: The Reckoning

The Reckoning
Despite all that has happened, Caroline is determined to see that Elena, Bonnie, Matt and Tyler all enjoy a traditional Senior Prank Night before the school year begins at Mystic Falls High School. However, when uninvited guests show up, it doesn't take long for the evening to take a deadly turn. Damon convinces Jeremy that he can use his new connection to the other side to help find a way to defeat Klaus. Finally, Klaus deepens his hold on Stefan and uses him for increasingly violent and dangerous purposes.

All Rights Reserved. Each week the show gets better and better. Klaus is pissed and he letting everyone know it. He is a bad man guy that I love to watch. He has "fixed" Stefan, by forcing him into turning off his emotions.

Just when you think that Elena might be done for we learn that it's her blood that is important to making the hybrids work. So now she is even more important to Klaus and he has tasked Stefan to protector her. But by the looks of it Elena is not going to be happy about the "new" Stefan hanging around.

That's ok, she has Damon promising that he will never leave her again. {SWOON} Again I say, Stefan who?!

Klaus finally makes a hybrid that doesn't die on him, Tyler. Here's hoping that Tyler doesn't become evil like Klaus. Wonder what kind twist this will make in Tyler and Caroline's love fest?

Bonnie....boring. Jeremy....boring. Matt....BORING.

But wait there's Catherine waking up the vampire that happens to hunt other vampires and has the first vampire family scared. That Catherine, always stirring up trouble. Can't wait to see what Micheal brings to the table.

This week's rating: ★★★

NEXT WEEK:

SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT

On the first day of their senior year, Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and Matt are still reeling from recent events, while Tyler seems to be enjoying everything a little too much. Damon is annoyed by a new houseguest, and everyone is surprised by the arrival of a new student in Alaric's history class. Matt asks Bonnie for help when he realizes he made a serious mistake. Meanwhile, Stefan continues to carry out his latest assignment from Klaus.
