"Sometimes the best solution is found in bed . . . "

Lady Sophia Harding: beautiful, blond, and . . . capable of murder? That's what Lord Camden Grey intends to find out. It is Camden's duty to uphold the laws of the land. His neighbor's pale beauty and winsome grace don't make her the most likely suspect, but is the innocent and altogether beguiling look in her eyes the truth, or is she secretly a scheming seductress?

Lord Camden Grey is entirely too distracting and too smart. Sophia knows that to keep her family's secrets, she must avoid any entanglements with the powerful and brutally handsome man. But the pull of their mutual desire is all-consuming. Can Sophia trust Camden with the truth when she knows it might kill the love that has grown between them?

REVIEW:

A Most Naked Solution reunions Sophia and Camden through the investigation of her husband's murder, where she is Camden's prime suspect.

Camden is a few years older than Sophia and when they last saw each other he was her brother's math tutor and she was a young girl with a crush on him. She finally got around to letting Camden know how she felt through a love letter she wrote to him while he was off servicing in the army. But after not hearing back from him, she assumed he either didn't get the letter or he didn't feel the same way about her.

So Sophia finds another man, Richard. He is has it all; good looks, money and is so charming. But she doesn't learn his true nature until after she marries him.

Once Camden returns from the army he learns that Sophia has married and he goes about his life; studying math and becomes a justice of the peace. The latter is what brings him back into Sophia life again.

Richard was murdered and the case was pretty much closed but some people in the village feels that it was not investigated enough so Camden steps in to open up the investigation after learning about some new evidence.

As Camden and Sophia come closer during the investigation sparks start to fly behind them. Sophia realizes that her school girl crush was more and that her feelings for Camden never really died.

Since this is a novella, I'm glad we got a romance between people that already had a past together. To me it makes the romance more believable than a couple that just meet. Anna Randol is a new author for me and I enjoyed A Most Naked Solution enough that I would like to try another book by her. I grabbed this one and Sins of a Virgin from Edelweiss, so look for that review in the near future.
