Mission #2 brings sizzling kisses and deadly vengeance

Beatrice Alexander is still adjusting to life as a secret special agent, wiping out zombies and other supernatural threats. Now, a new case requires partnership with her annoying and gorgeous vampire co-worker Oliver. To infiltrate the goth vamp scene in Dallas, Texas, they must go undercover as a married couple and, Oliver's convincing public affection has Bea swooning in her bustier and fishnets. Clubbing with the undead turns bloody when Oliver's old enemy, the vampire lord of Dallas, turns up.

Don't let the cheesy cover fool you!!

This a great second installment in the urban fantasy series by Jennifer Harlow. I really enjoyed the first book, Mind Over Monsters and knew I would be reading To Catch a Vampire.

In case you've not read the 1st book let me clue you into a little about the world. The F.R.E.A.K.S Squad is a secret government group that works on supernatural cases. The team is made up of the leader, Will, a sexy werewolf, Oliver the uber sexy, playboy vampire, a few humans with X-Men type abilities and Bea the new comer that's an ex-teacher.

The F.R.E.A.K.S Squad is back but this time around it's Oliver and Bea doing most of the work on this case. Will is on a werewolf vacation which gives Oliver his chance to get closer to Bea.

Oliver and Bea go undercover as a married couple in the S&M vampire clubs in Dallas, TX to catch a vampire or group of vampires that are most likely the rest for a group of missing humans over the last few months.

Hi-jinks takes place where Bea is forced to play Oliver's love monkey "against" her will. Bea is confused when it comes to the wolf and vamp in her life. She keeps shooting down Oliver's advances and can't get Will to come on to her enough. I must say I'm Team Oliver all the way and very much so after reading this one.

I must say that To Catch a Vampire is gorier than Mind Over Monsters was. Jennifer Harlow does a great job of juggling romance, blood and mystery into her books. After now enjoying both books I've read by her, she is now on my audio buy or audio request from Netgalley list.

If you enjoy some snark and sexy with your gore you need to give her a try!
