I'll keep this short and spoiler free just in case you have not read all the books or watched all the movies.
I've only read books 1-3 but I've watched all the movies several times. A few movies back I asked my hubby (he's read all the books) how it ends. He asked if I really what to know and I said yeah. So going into the last movie I pretty much knew what was going to happen. I was surprised by somethings that he left out.
I saw it in 3D at an IMAX and it was awesome. BEST 3D I've seen. It was not in your face 3D cheap tricks. I felt like I was inside the movie. The buildings, people and landscape was 3D, not just a few things thrown at you. It was well worth the price of the IMAX/3D price.
I was sad while watching it, knowing it was the last movie. I've see them all in the theaters and then bought them for home. And the wait for each one has been half the fun. It truly is an end of an era. Here's to Harry, Hermione and Ron! Cheers!
So in keeping with no spoilers that's all I have say. If you are Harry fan you must see this one in the theater. Do not wait for it to come to DVD/Blu-ray!
I'm green with envy that you got to see it both 3D and IMAX. Lucky!
