Everyone that entered answered the question below. And there was a lot of Willows from BTVS (yeah!) and a lot of the witches/wizards from the Harry Potter series.

After watching HP this weekend my answer is:
Severus Snape
He was really a good guy playing the part of an evil man and he did it all out of love.
If I had answered this question before the movie it would have been the witch from Bugs Bunny
