Answer: Oh this is a hard one. But I think I would go with The Hunger Games just because most of my family would not be into the paranormal books like me and The Hunger Games would be a great way to ease them into the fantasy world.
Now for my friends I would recommend the Fever series but most of them have already read it.
The Hunger Games are an excellent choice. I loved the Fever Series but I think I was one of the last people in the entire universe to read it. Completely awesome.

Both series are fantastic, great choices. I just couldn't recommend the FEVER series to EVERYONE, my mom would NOT be a fan...so, I went with old classics that I love! Book Savvy Babe’s FF

my husband is finally reading The Hunger Games books. he just finished Catching Fire yesterday, and he says he is largely under-wowed. bah. i encouraged him to stick with it, though!
