Hunger Untamed

Feral Warriors #5
Published February 22nd 2011 by Avon
Paranormal Romance
RATING:★★★1/2
Ariana, caught in a deadly battle of her own, is neither the soulless creature Kougar believes her to be, nor the savior he seeks. And when darkness threatens to annihilate both races, the greatest danger of all becomes the glorious love Kougar and Ariana once shared. A love that must never rise again. A love that has never died.
REVIEW:
Hunger Untamed picks up right where Rapture Untamed left off. Everyone is trying to figure out a way to save the two warriors that are trapped in the spirit trap and Kougar knows someone that can help. But he will have to go through a personal hell in order to get the help that his brothers in arm need.
Kougar has always been the silent and lethal warrior that shows no emotion. No much is know about Kougar's past by anyone. He is the oldest of the group and the most mysterious since he never gets too close to anyone, not even the other warriors.
We get to learn more about Kougar and his past in Hunger Untamed. At the end of Rapture Untamed,
Kougar and Ariana have to over come their past in order to save both the Feral Warriors and the Ilina mist warriors from the evil Mage. And through some heart breaking moments the two come to an agreement to partner up to save their people.
I must say that Kougar and Ariana are not my favorite couple of the series so far. I was more pulled into the side story that is building up for Wulfe. I get a feeling that Palmer is teasing us with hints to his future. And I can't wait to see how his story unwinds.
Even thought the main couple was not my fave I still recommend Hunger Untamed to fans of the series. I have the next book, Ecstasy Untamed on my book shelf. I have plans of getting to it before the month is over. If you are a fan of hot shifters you really should check out this series. Think Black Dagger Brotherhood but with fur instead of fangs.

I bought my copy at Walmart.
I've never heard of this series but it looks like my cup of tea.
