Google is shutting down its APIs on October 20th. Which basically means if you follow The Book Nympho by email you will no longer get posts via your email account. Sucks I know.
So after seeing Talk Supe's post about Feed Cat I thought I'd make the move too. Parajunkee also did a post about the subject. Check it out HERE.
<------- NOT TRUE!
So if you wish to continue getting the latest from The Book Nympho delivered to your inbox via your email account please take the time to subscribe again below. Thank you!
One more reason to think long and hard about moving The Book Nympho over to Word Press.
This whole feed burner really pissed me off. I'm so ready to jump ship but doing it in baby steps. Transferring my content to wordpress right now. Ugh! I just hate the idea of losing my GFC followers :(
ReplyDeleteI am going to practice with wordpress and see how I like it. I lost 1600 subscribers because of this feed burner crap. I don't trust google any more. I added feed cat too, but I want to make sure it works good before I ask people to switch.
ReplyDeleteWhat really sucks is that Google never really made an announcement nor did they notify Feedburner users. We had to find out about this thru word of mouth.
ReplyDeleteWordpress overwhelms me, otherwise I'd be over there in a heartbeat, so I'm sticking with Blogger for a bit. I'm not moving my feed just yet either. I'm going to wait and see what happens on 10/20.
Thanks so much for this information. I keep thinking about Wordpress too and I also thought about making a practice blog, but I just haven't yet. Part of me wants to switch but I'm just not sure.
ReplyDeleteI'm on WP & I'm dealing with this nightmare. The FeedBurner works on WP. So when I made the big move last month from Blogger to WP I was excited that I would not be losing those followers. HA, so not the case I get to lose those followers next month.
ReplyDeleteReally? Well... I'll have to think hard about my move. I'm using WP to back up my blog just in case something happens.
