Quickie Review: Enslave by Felicity E. Heaton

Enslave
by Felicity E. Heaton
(Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance Series #4)

His determination to succeed in business has left no room in his life for love. Now, a beautiful and deadly succubus has teleported into his dark, decadent world and is in danger of enslaving his heart.

Andreu’s future entails opening an erotic theatre like Vampirerotique, gaining wealth, women and power, not shackling himself to a single female, but he cannot deny the dangerously seductive succubus who stirs his anger and passion, and tempts him like no other—he will have her.

The moment their eyes meet, Varya knows she cannot have the exotic dark vampire who sets her pulse racing. His shadowed aura marks him as forbidden, but the hungers he awakens in her are too intense to resist—she must have a taste.

When an erotically-charged kiss ignites their soul-searing passion and reveals something dangerous about Andreu, will Varya leave forever or will she dare to risk all in pursuit of something she thought was beyond her reach?

REVIEW:

Felicity has yet to fail to deliver the heat in her V.E.T series, Enslave is no different that the other novellas in this hot paranormal series.

This time around we have a pairing of an exotica, sexy male vamp and a smoking succubus.

Andreu is the brother of Javier, the vamp we meet in the 1st novella, Covet. Andreu is determined not to get trapped by a woman like his older brother. Love is for fools and he will not be made one. Andreu is focusing on his future where he wants to open his own vampire erotic theater.

One night while the brothers are over seeing a show they feel a presence in the theater that's not vampire and it puts all the other vamps on edge trying to figure out what it is.

Andreu sees with his own eyes that it's a beautiful but he doesn't know what she is. Varya lets her shield drop will watching the erotic show on the stage long enough for a attractive vampire across the theater to see her. When their eyes meet it's instead lust.

Through Enslave we see how Andreu and Varya lust at first site slowly turns into love and it's an emotional and hot ride. Not to be missed by paranormal erotica fans.

PNR Review: Seduce by Felicity E. Heaton

Seduce (Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance, #3)

Seduce

Paranormal Romance

★★★

Bloodlust runs in his veins, a dark master waiting for the day it will reign over him. Now a woman with a pure soul and wicked intentions has him in her sights and is determined to crack the ice around his heart, and she might save or damn him.

REVIEW:

Heaton did it again. She owes me a package of batteries. (TMI I know) She really knows how to write a sex scene orgasmic experience. But her books aren’t porn. The smut has some real plot and heart to go with it, which I love.

Seduce is the third book in the VET series and in this one we get to see Antoine, the quite and very cold owner of the Vampirerotique theatre, get seduced by a young and shy vamp, Sera.

Sera is a "baby" in terms of the vampire world. But when she sets her mind to seducing the very old and sexy vamp that is always at the side of the stage during the shows at the theatre, she pulls out everything she has. But she knows it will be hard to grab Antoine attention since he is aristocrat (born vampire) and she is only an elite (human turned to vamp).

Antoine is more easily seduced by Sera than either would have thought, but he tries to stay away so he doesn't hurt her physically with the bloodlust that he thinks he will have, since his brother Snow has it. And he doesn't want to get hurt by Sera emotionally, since he has not been with a woman in a few centuries because of a past lost love.

The two work through their issues in some very HOT ways (handcuffs are present) plus there is some very tender and sweet moments along the way.

As always I really enjoyed Heaton's mix of smexy and plot and I can not wait to read Snow's (Antione's brother) story. But Heaton is making us wait for his story. Next up is Enslaved, which is about one of the new characters that we meet in Seduce, Andreu. Look for Enslaved on August 4th.

If you are wanting a quite, hot, vampire read you need to check out Seduce and the rest of VET series.

REVIEW: Vampire Mistress by Joey W. Hill

Vampire Mistress
by Joey W. Hill
Vampire Queen #5
Erotic/BDSM Paranormal Romance
Paperback, 389 pages
Published May 4th 2010 by Berkley Heat
EXCERPT
RATING: ★★★★

Joey W. Hill returns to the dark and seductive landscape of her Vampire Queen novels as a desperate woman named Anwyn finds herself trapped between the desires of two men, each with his own mission of the night: vampire hunter Gideon Green and vampire Daegan Rei. But when Anwyn is attacked by a rogue bloodsucker, Gideon and Daegan must become allies in order to save the woman they both love.

REVIEW:

I love the Vampire Queen series and I'm OCD when it comes to reading a series in order but you could start with Vampire Mistress and you would be ok. There are a few mentions of previous characters in the other books but nothing that will have you lost.

IMO this book has the most emotional tug of war going on between the characters in the series so far. You've got three strong willed characters that is looking for something that's missing in their lives.

Gideon is a loner and hates vampires so he has devoted his life to being the best vampire hunter.

Anwyn is the beautiful owner and operator of Atlantis, a BDSM club.

Deagan is a dark, mysterious and sexy vampire.

Gideon finds himself being drawn to Atlantis and after he doesn't find what he is looking for during 1st and 2nd visit; he gets a visit from the beautiful owner. He knows that she is want he has been needing. But when he finds out that she is in some kind of relationship with vampire and he pulls away from her.

The vampire in question is the mysterious Daegan. He and Anwyn have been in a relationship for 5 years. Deagan is the only person that Anwyn will submit to but she can't allow herself to totally submit to Deagan and become his servant. So the two's relationship is on an edge of either failing or becoming what they both need. That's where Gideon comes in. He could be the missing piece to the puzzle they need to make all three happy.

The threesome goes through hell together and are trying to make their way back. All three needs to learn how to submit to one another. But with three dominant characters it won't be easy.

They do not get their HEA in Vampire Mistress, their story continues in Vampire Trinity. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how they overcome their personal hang ups and learn to be a part of the harsh vampire world and it rules.

Vampire Mistress is not for the fate at heart. It has violence and emotional rollercoaster mixed with strong BDSM elements. But if you are looking for a sexy and intense read pick it up today.

I recommend starting at the beginning of the series just so you learn the rules of the vampire/servant roles and get a little background on some of the other characters. But like I said if you wanted to start with this one you won't be lost.

REVIEW: Covet by Felicity Heaton

Covet (Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance, #1)

Covet
by Felicity E. Heaton
(Vampire Erotic Theatre Romance Series #1)
Genre: paranormal vampire romance book
Length: novella
ebook, 103 pages
Published January 14th 2012 by Dark Rose Publishing
RATING: ★★★

REVIEW:
Covet is my first Felicity Heaton book and I LOVED it. I’ve had Her Dark Angel on my Nook waiting for me to read it. After reading this hot novella, I will be moving it up my TBR!

Covet is mix of romance, hot monkey sex and blood. And it all takes place in a vampire owned and ran theatre. But this isn’t any theatre; they don’t do plays or operas here. No they put on erotica shows for the elite vampires. There’s sex and feeding on stage to have the audience coming back for more and more.

These vampires have a monster hiding within them and if they are not careful their meal doesn’t live at the end of the feeding.

Lilah is a human servant of a rich aristocrat vamp that has sent her to the theatre to work. Javier is one of the owners of the theatre and he has lusted after Lilah for the two years she has worked for him. But because of her bond to her master she is off limits per the vamp law.

After staying away from Lilah and his desire for her; Javier can’t control himself any longer. When he finds her in the balcony boxes cleaning during a show, he finally gets to pleasure the sweet Lilah but he is surprised to find out that she has the same feelings for him.

In order not to give you more of the plot or spoilers the two have some hot monkey sex and share their feelings for each other while hoping that Lilah’s master doesn’t take their future away from them by taking Javier’s head.

If you are looking for a hot quick read with great characters pick up Heaton’s Covet today. I'm looking forward to the second novella in this series, Crave.
