REVIEW:

Bewitch has put a spell on the VET series. I really liked this one because we get to spet outside the theater and deal with different paranormal creatures.

Payne is the sexy and yet somewhat scary vamp we've meet in other books and in the last one, Enslave we learn that he's a half breed. He's part vampire and part incubus. Both sides have dark cravings and feeding needs. The vamp side needs blood and craves fear. The incubus craves sex. But Payne tries to control both his dominate sides and choices to side with his vamp side in favor of the incubus part that he doesn't know much about.

Payne is a really great character. He comes off as cold and scary but once we start learning about his very sad past we see the much softer side to him that just wants to be loved. Payne has spend most of his long life wanting to fit in somewhere and have people to call family after loosing his real family.

While he is out in the fae world trying to help one of the vampires from the theater he ends up saving a sexy little witch. One he would not mind get his hands and other things on. To is surprise she is the witch he is looking for to get the help he needs in finding an item for Andreu. Or at least she thinks she is the witch.

Elissa can't believe that this sexy male as walked into her life. She does her best to fight her attraction to him but she can't help herself. He needs her help and she needs his so she make a bargain with him. If he will submit to her for one night she will help him find what he is seeking.

By the end of their journey Payne and Elissa both find what they are looking for....in each other. Their love story is a sweet and emotional ride full of sexual tension and then sweet sweet sexual release. Heaton never fails to deliver in the heat department and this time around she really delivers in the romance as well. Payne and Elissa are my favorite couple in the series so far.

I can't wait for the next book in the series, Unleashed. We will finally get Snow's HEA.
